Cocoa Legato is Seattle's new home for Bean To Bar Chocolate and Music, and we're looking to extend our team by adding someone to our barista/chocolate-making team.
During the day, we're a fully functioning chocolate factory and Caffe Vita coffee shop. Additionally, we serve a small menu of savory dishes, all of which are crafted from scratch and based in chocolate. At night, our space transforms into an intimate live music venue, providing a home for Seattle's folk, jazz, and R&B scene.
We're looking for a part-time team member to work behind our coffee bar during live music events, in addition to some day shifts.
We'll also train this role on how to roast cacao and turn the roasted bean into cocoa nibs. This type of chocolate-based work can be done if the cafe is slow.
Hours:
Friday: 3pm - 11pm
Saturday: 7pm - 11pm
Sunday: 9:30am - 5:30pm
This role can also pick up shifts if someone calls out or is on PTO.
Responsibilities:
Prepare Beverages (classic coffee drinks and specialty chocolate drinks)
Prepare Food: Sandwiches & Salads
Set up and tear down the cafe for live music events
Requirements:
WA State Food Handlers Permit
Pays strong attention to detail
A passion for chocolate
A strong passion for music and Seattle's music scene
1 year of experience in a coffee shop
Chocolate making experience is not needed
18+
Weekend availability (We'll kindly ask you not apply if you're not available for Friday - Sunday shifts)
