Baker (Seattle/Capitol Hill)
Join Pinoyshki, a brand new bakery in Capitol Hill, we just opened a few months ago, where we blend East European and Filipino culinary traditions. We're seeking a passionate baker to craft a variety of baked goods, including cakes, croissants, decorative desserts, piroshki, and breads. Our bakery offers specialized training in our unique baking methods, and we're excited to incorporate your expertise into new kinds of pastries and desserts.
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Experience in making Piroshki is a plus, but not required.
- Eligibility to work in the US (Note: we cannot sponsor work visas).
- Prior food service experience is beneficial.
- A food handler's permit is required (cost refunded upon successful application).
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Welcoming culinary students and individuals with East European or Filipino heritage; experience or formal training preferred.
- Must be over 18 years old.
- Both full-time and part-time positions available.
