We are looking for individuals residing in Thurston County, Washington, to serve as mock jurors in a focus group of a real case. This focus group will take place via Zoom on Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Individuals will participate in a mock trial/focus group where real attorneys seek feedback on one of their current cases.
Jurors will listen to a short presentation of the case and answer written questions. Potential mock jurors must fill out this questionnaire to be considered: https://forms.office.com/r/vm0KniegDJ
A confidentiality agreement must be signed by each juror, as this is a real case still awaiting trial.
The mock trial will be completed virtually and compensation is $50.00 for completion of the one-hour session. Participants must have their camera on and complete all written questions to receive compensation.
Qualifications to participate:
Must be 18 years old or older
Must be a registered voter
Must be available during the entire session
Must be able to read/write/understand English proficiently
Must have a laptop or similar technology and a reliable internet connection
Must be logged into Zoom for the entire session
Must have camera on for the entirety of the session
Must be a resident of Thurston County
Finalists will be notified by Wednesday, February 5, and must complete the confidentiality agreement prior to participating.
