Shipper/Receiver/Warehouse Associate
Fonte Coffee Roaster is one of the original Seattle coffee roasters located in Georgetown, Seattle, operating both Fonte Coffee bars and Uptown Espresso bars throughout the Seattle area.
We service our own and other local cafes with fresh roasted coffee, and ship roasted coffee to hotels and cafes around the nation.
JOB OVERVIEW: We are seeking a reliable warehouse associate to join our team. You will be responsible for shipping and receiving products to various locations in a timely and efficient manner and helping in other production areas as needed.
SHIPPER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organize daily shipping by creating shipping tags and packing the orders for pickup/delivery
- Pick local orders and load our van for the next morning's deliveries
- Arrange for freight pickups
- Assist in loading/unloading deliveries
WAREHOUSE duties may include:
- Package coffee, tea, and herbs to Fonte standards in preparation for shipping.
- Maintain an adequate supply of shipping materials as directed by Warehouse Manager
- Clean and maintain production and roasting areas and equipment.
- Clean and maintain tasting room and kitchen areas.
- Secure warehouse at the close of business
EXPERIENCE:
- Ability to handle moderate lifting and physical demands of the job
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus
- Experience operating forklifts or other equipment is an asset
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- English language skills
- Rudimentary addition and subtraction skills
- Rudimentary computer skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Show up on time and ready to work
- Ability to lift 50 pounds multiple times throughout the day
