Description Robert Half is partnering with a Global E-commerce enterprise in search of a Senior UX Designer to join their team in Seattle, WA. This role requires a seasoned UX professional with over 10 years of experience who excels in creating intuitive and engaging user experiences. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in design systems, interaction design, and visual thinking, with a mastery of Figma. The role demands a self-starter capable of collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results.Location: Seattle, WA (hybrid-onsite 3 days/week)Duration: 6 monthsHours: 40 hours/weekPay Rate: $65-75/hourResponsibilities:
Quickly create process flows, wireframes, and visual design mockups to effectively conceptualize and communicate detailed interaction behaviors.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business and feature requirements using empirical online data, usability findings, market research, and UCD principles.
Assess and optimize the performance of new and existing features through usability testing and analytics data interpretation.
Present design work to the user experience team, product team, and executives for review and feedback.
Contribute to user interface design and development best practices and standards.
Provide leadership in e-commerce trends, web application design, and user interface innovations.
Requirements
Qualifications:
10+ years of industry experience providing interaction design solutions for web and/or software applications.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience.
Fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and design, with strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques.
Expert-level proficiency in Figma.
Experience with design systems and interaction design.
Proficiency in tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Visio, and Dreamweaver.
Experience with Quip, MS Office, and Adobe Tools.
A strong online portfolio demonstrating past work experience and relevant, user-centered design solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
Ability to communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and organizational levels.
Self-starter who is customer-obsessed, detail-oriented, and an enthusiastic team player.
Ability to work with highly technical teams and handle multiple projects in an agile, fast-paced environment.
Prototyping skills in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, or Flash are highly desired.
