SAP BASIS Admin:Location: Seattle, WA Required 5+ years’ experience in Basis/SAP System Administration. Knowledge of retail business processes. Ability to participate in on-call rotation for 24x7 service requirement. Ability to diagnose complex problems. Ability to coordinate defect resolution activities across multiple REI teams and vendors. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to create quality operational and support documentation for department staff. Thorough understanding of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best practices for providing service. Actively participates and collaborates with others on one's own team and across for the achievement of business goals. Uses business knowledge, innovative thinking, and sound judgment in the solution of problems or the pursuit of business opportunities. Works smart by setting effective work goals, establishing priorities, and planning well in order to produce quality work. Executes effectively by using resources efficiently, meeting deadlines, and keeping others informed of work plans and progress toward goals. Experience in supporting Windows, Linux, Oracle, HANA environments Experience in supporting ABAP, JAVA, Dual Stack, Dual Landscape Experience in system copy procedures Preferred Bachelor’s degree in computer science, math, or engineering, or equivalent training and experience. General knowledge of SAP functional capabilities related to retail master data, financials, inventory management, and purchasing. Knowledgeable in REI incident, problem, and change management practices. Proficient in tools used to support SAP such as Solution Manager Knowledge of job scheduling tools. Flexible in one's viewpoints and positions in order to support the direction taken by others at REI. Consolidates information from various sources including feedback from others to reach sound decisions. Considers the ultimate impact of decisions and actions on internal and external customers. Clearly conveys and accurately receives information by a variety of methods and in various situations. Experience in supporting SAP applications like ECC, BW, CAR, Solution Manager, PI, S4 HANA, Portal, Ariba, AWS/SAP Cloud Experience with Shell scripting, Winshuttle and GUIXT Scripts
