The SDE IIs they will recruit are good in -

  • Coding (data structures and algorithms, problem solving)
  • Design (Sub-System Design and Architecture, Component Design and Design Patterns)
  • Have 3+ years of experience. Most SDE II hires have an average of 10 years of expr.
Looking for -
  • Mid-senior level recruiters
  • Experience recruiting for technical roles for technical companies (no banks, insurance companies etc)
  • Recruiters will need to be very strong in sourcing over LinkedIn. Everyone understands String Search, but they need to be good at working on LinkedIn Recruiter Projects, Various options (education, etc). For example recruiter will be quick to eliminate unwanted profiles like search should not show current Client SDE resumes. Another smart approach can be to look for ex-Client SDE resumes.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to engage candidates over InMail, email, phone and video
  • Agency recruiters are okay too as long as they have experience in recruiting FTEs for technical companies. They should be able to sell Client over another company though
  • They should understand the challenges in recruiting for the Silicon Valley market
