DescriptionThis position is for FireTV Business & Devices Advertisement QA team working on products used by advertisers to get their Ads delivered to different devices like Fire TV, Tablets, etc. There are 100s of millions of devices customers use every day including 10s of millions of FireTV devices. Here you will drive key engineering and business decisions that impact Amazon’s long-term vision, which includes rapid expansion and innovation in the delivery of media entertainment.Come join us as we shape the future of what people watch on television!Key job responsibilitiesAs a QAE on the Fire TV Business & Devices Advertisement team, you will champion the quality of our features in our development pipeline using both automated and manual tests, status reporting, verifying defects, and signing-off on features and release candidates. You will own authoring and the execution of test plans and test cases. You will have a significant impact in the quality and delivery speed of our software, our business, and most importantly our customers. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA in order to ensure the features we deliver to our customers have a high level of quality. In addition, you will also have the opportunity to propose improvements to our existing processes and automated tools in order to improve the team’s speed, quality and efficiency.A day in the lifeYour day would be filled with working on test strategies, test plans & test cases. Part of the day would be engaged in several discussions working with PMs, TPMs & developers in making requirements clear, bug triages & reproducing issues seen by others.You will also be working with QA team in India who is reporting to your hiring manager in a dotted line. As these QA engineers from India help you run different projects, you would be working with them on a frequent basis to get status from them, providing knowledge sessions & tracking their progress.About the teamThis role is for the QA team owning two different advertisement verticals named Video & Display Ads. This position is for the Display Ads vertical. We enjoy working together, longest team member with Amazon is been here for last 12 years and newest is in 2nd year with Amazon.Basic Qualifications

4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience

Experience in manual testing

Experience in automation testing

Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality

The base pay for this position ranges from $102,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market.
