The test engineer will carry out design and build of the test systems, test execution, and documentation of test efforts.The Test Engineer role works directly with the design team and enjoys excellent visibility and opportunities to grow.Key job responsibilitiesIn order for both the candidate and the group to be successful, the candidate will:Lead and execute full test lifecycle from test system design and build, through test execution and data reviewDesign and build automated test systems, including instrumentation and software integrationDevelop test plans, specifications, and acceptance criteria for electronic & mechanical components and integrated systemsPerform PCBA testing, debugging, and failure analysisManage test system configuration control and change processesLead verification, validation, and environmental testingSupport component and system-level troubleshootingBasic Qualifications

BS degree in electrical engineering or equivalent

Minimum 5 years of experience: Designing and building automated test systems

Hardware development

Software/hardware systems integration

Demonstrated expertise in: Test automation software development

Test system troubleshooting and debugging

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of SolidWorks simulation or Ansys Finite Element analysis tools

Experience in the design of complex mechanical products and equipment at volume

Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent

7+ years of engineering experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in: Leading test campaigns for electrical/mechanical devices and PCBAs, Environmental and qualification testing

The base pay for this position ranges from $105,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market.
