Job DescriptionAs a Principal Technical Program Manager for Service Operations in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, you will lead an organization comprised of numerous engineering teams in the delivery and operation of cloud services that will enable security at the scale of the cloud. You will be responsible for leading and overseeing numerous complex projects and initiatives that affect the entire cloud. You will work with executive leadership to chart a path to success, providing influence and direction based on your experience as a leader. You will work with other Cloud Security teams to ensure they are getting the support and telemetry from various tools and systems to properly protect Oracle and its customers. Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.Career Level - IC4ResponsibilitiesManage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.Responsibilities
Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cyber Security or related discipline.
The ideal candidate will have 10 years of overall experience in the software industry with at least 6 years as a program or senior project manager.
Ability to manage all phases of the software development life cycle.
Experience in managing cloud-based projects.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Ability to facilitate meetings, capture minutes and action items, and drive to-dos to completion.
Schedule awareness – ability to communicate priorities and sequence project work.
Ability to manage cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams in various time zones.
Experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, MS Project Plan Online
Nice to Have
Experience in managing software assurance projects.
Experience/background in security space, cloud applications
Working knowledge of scripting language for JIRA & Confluence automation would be a plus
Higher-level skills in project management tools using MS Project online would be a plus
PMP or other Project/Program Management industry certification(s).
Certified Scrum Master, Product Owner or other agile certification.
Cloud Certification(s) (OCI).
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
