Manager of Business Support and Operations team for Customer and Retail Technology OrganizationThe Customer and Retail Technology (CRT) team is responsible for the product management, design, engineering and ongoing sustainment of all customer-facing digital products. This includes the Starbucks Rewards app, all digital consumer marketing platforms, the Point of Sale, and the various customer facing software and hardware solutions in our stores.The Program Management Office supporting the CRT team at Starbucks is looking for an experienced manager to lead our Business Support and Operations team. The right candidate for this role can effortlessly operate at both a strategic and a tactical level, partnering with Technology, Business, and Finance executives and stakeholders. Their responsibilities include:

Driving operational excellence and scale by establishing objectives and key results (OKRs) and leading transformation within the BSO, PMO and across CRT.

Championing data best practices to increase data reliability, minimize manual processes, improve controls, and enable self-service BI reporting.

Serve as the CRT liaison for the procure to pay process including processing contracts / POs and ensuring vendor invoices are being submitted on time, allocated to the correct budget, and paid in a timely fashion including accrual and reclass management.

Partner with Finance to provide actionable insights, identify risks and opportunities, and promote effective annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

Lead the team as they perform financial activities in support of the CRT organization, e.g. monthly accruals, quarterly budget forecasting, invoice processing and contracts submissions, etc

Managing a team of employees and contractors that make up the BSO.

Required qualifications to be considered:

Minimum of two years’ experience as a manager of a finance or business operations team

Minimum 4 years supporting financial planning and reforecasting processes

Minimum 4. Years managing complex procure to pay and other core financial processes

4-year degree preferred; PMP considered

Experience as a project or program manager in IT preferred

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

Participates in annual operational and financial planning and quarterly reforecasting efforts for the CRT portfolio of work

Participate in Enterprise-wide budgeting processes in support of CRT.Including sustainment budget reforecasting, reconciliation processes with the Corporate Finance team, etc.

Support the VPs and Directors in CRT with insights and reporting to help them make better business decisions.

Builds and manages a high-performing team by making good hiring decisions, setting clear individual and team expectations, holding team members accountable to their commitments, fostering strong team collaboration, and supporting career growth.

Responsible for setting goals for the work group, developing organizational capability, and modeling how we work together.This includes designing, planning and championing change management and improvement initiatives within the BSO, PMO and across CRT.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
