Description Robert Half is looking for a Network/Systems Administrator! This is an exciting opportunity to support an air quality company based out of Washington State!This is a hybrid contract opportunity (about 3 months long) based out of Seattle, WA.What you will do:

Manages security and threat protection by defining firewall access rules, creating Network Address Translation (NAT) policies, and configuring gateway security services.

Manages network system security and applies security patches and fixes to server OS as needed.

Provides guidance, troubleshooting and resolution for all technical support issues relating to Windows Operating Systems (OS), hardware, peripheral devices, network connectivity, remote access, and/or mobile devices.

Installs, configures, administers, and manages physical, virtual, and cloud server infrastructure services. Monitors hardware, network, applications, and disk storage and makes modifications as needed. Installs and configures operating systems, application software, and updates on workstations and servers.

Configures, manages, and administers Windows Exchange Server, mail clients, calendars, and archives. Responsible for configuration and management of all devices connected to the network including printers, copiers, and scanners. Implements physical network infrastructures including Ethernet cabling, internal Wi-Fi, and switch configuration.

Configures, prepares, and deploys new desktop workstations for end users. Facilitates hardware relocation and network setup.

Administers and maintains end-user accounts, permissions, and access rights.

Manages the Agency's IT asset tracking system and software licenses.

Assists in the annual IT strategic planning, budget preparation and expense tracking.

Develops and deepens an understanding of the principles of equity and environmental justice and applies the principles in the individual work. Participates in committees and groups that further the Agency’s efforts of equity and environmental justice in the region supported by the Agency.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Must Haves: 5+ years of experience with Network/Identity Administration

SonicWall (preferred) or other firewalls

Hyper-V
