The Finance Director position represents a thoughtful and significant investment in the financial capacity of the organization. Responding to increasing demands across the region, this is a highly important and visible position. We are hiring a Finance Director for each of the following divisions within the North Ameria region: Northeast, Southern, Great Plains, Midwest/Pacific, Western US & Canada. Flexibility to work within the timezone of the region is preferred.The Finance Director oversees the strategy, analysis, and management of financial activities at the division level, and acts as a thought partner to the Regional Finance Director, Division Director, and Business Unit (BU) Finance staff in decision-making and implementation.The Finance Director will provide broad oversight of Division-wide finances including planning, reporting, and analysis of current division finance and operations activities. They will identify gaps in alignment and efficiencies and ensure standards and compliance requirements are met. The Finance Director will represent the division in regional and organizational-wide initiatives and tailor implementation for their division. This includes current TNC's realignment of internal operating and funding models, and TNC's ongoing transition to a new financial management system in Workday.The Finance Director will not manage BU finances or supervise staff; however, they will develop and implement financial management standards and compliance requirements that impact BU-level processes in their division.
