Our U.S. headquarters are located in Charleston, SC which is consistently voted one of the best places to live and visit in the world.Job DescriptionAs a Field Service Technician, you will travel to hospital sites to complete the installation, service, and maintenance of Belimed products while providing excellent service to customers.This could be a great fit if you possess strong mechanical aptitude and excellent customer service skills! You may have experience as a/an: Automotive Repair Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, HVAC Technician, Car Wash Mechanic, Machinist’s Mate, Boiler Technician, Generator Technician, Forklift Technician, Appliance or Equipment Repair Technician, etc.Training is provided to all new technicians - two weeks of initial classroom training, 90 days of OJT and one week of advanced classroom instruction.This is a remote, home-based position traveling around the Seattle area and covering within a 2-4 hour driving radius. Additional travel, including some overnights, during the first 90 days may be necessary for training purposes.Compensation: $32/hourHow you will impact Belimed and our clients

Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions using test instruments

Measure and adjust digital and analog instrumentation using calibration equipment

Install, modify and repair Belimed and/or 3rd party equipment

Manage customer base effectively; prioritizing customer needs and balancing preventive maintenance (PM) workload with daily repairs

Demonstrate correct usage and application of equipment to customers

Conduct product in-service trainings as required

Complete service reports, timesheets, expense reports and parts lists in a timely and accurate manner

Maintain an organized work vehicle with necessary tools, manuals and parts required to provide efficient repairs and installations

Monitor customer chemical orders, contract sales and renewals

Promote and maintain good customer relations through high standards of professionalism, ethical behavior, maturity and good judgment

What you need to succeed

High school diploma or equivalent

3+ years of experience with industrial electrical single and 3-phase wiring and controls

Experience troubleshooting water and pneumatic process controls

Experience using diagnostic test equipment, volt-ohm meters, amp probes and precision temperature and pressure calibration equipment

Ability to perform piping of copper, brass and stainless steel piping

Ability to read and red-line P&ID and electrical schematics

Moderate technical aptitude; general computer skills with the ability to communicate effectively via e-mail

Ability to lift at least fifty pounds unassisted

Ability to climb over and crawl under equipment

Ability to travel extensively with little notice prior to travel

Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as business need dictates

Ability to maintain compliance of all credentialing requirements in order to access customer sites
