Description:Join us for an incredible opportunity to help lead our Event Setup Team as our Overnight Event Setup Supervisor! The Overnight Event Setup Supervisor will support “ A Seattle Collective ”, a multi-property cluster comprised of Hyatt at Olive 8 and Hyatt Regency Seattle.The Overnight Event Setup Supervisor will work closely with the leaders of the Event Services (Banquets) & Setup team, to set up an outstanding experience for our guests and Meeting Planners. This Supervisor will report to the Event Setup and Assistant Event Setup managers, and will supervise the set-up of the rooms for meetings and banquets. The Event Setup Supervisor will ensure equipment is in working order and properly maintained, and that the Event Setup Team has the tools and resources to be successful.The hourly rate for this position is $19.97. This position also has an established rate for colleagues who remain in the position for four years, which is $20.37/hour.A Taxable 25% service charge and applicable taxes shall be added to all food and beverage. 16.5 percent (%) of which is to go to the service team - approximately 14% goes to the banquet team (for example servers, bartenders and captains) and 2.5% goes to the Convention Services (for example set up) team. A taxable 25% service charge and applicable taxes shall be added to all meeting room rental charges - 10 percent (%) of which is to go to set-up personnel (convention services). For internal events, there is still a service charge added on to the event, which is 15%. Full-Time Colleagues:

10 days (80 hours) earned upon completing 1-4 years of service

Hospitality, Event, and/or Food & Beverage leadership experience preferred

Ability to read and follow event diagrams preferred

Must be available to work a varying schedule, including overnights, weekends, and holidays

Desire to create exceptional experiences for guests and colleagues

Detail Oriented

Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication skills

Able to push, pull, and lift moderate to heavy weight consistently throughout shift
