We are seeking a talented and motivated Electrical Engineer to support the field and manufacturing with issues on the current generation Scout. The candidate will also support next generation design as bandwidth allows, including schematic design, simulations, board bring up and validation activities. This candidate must have the ability to work well both independently and in team settings.
Some of the key job functions of the Electrical Engineer include:- Work with an interdisciplinary team to execute product designs from concept to production including design, validation, testing and certification.
- First line support of current generation field and manufacturing issues. Work with senior engineers on resolving difficult issues.
- Assist other electrical engineers with design elements, simulation, testing, documentation and troubleshooting on next generation designs.
- BS Electrical Engineering (or similar field)
- 7 + years of experience in design
- Experience in schematic entry, layout tools and design for manufacturability
- Strong system level troubleshooting skills
- Strong fundamentals of electrical engineering
- MS Electrical Engineering
- Experience in analog, high speed digital, power and/or RF design.
- Experience in simulation tools (Hyperlynx, HFSS, ADS)
- Experience designing with safety standards, e.g. ISO26262, IEC 61508
