Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on a 100% remote basis. This role operates within the private equity industry and requires a strong understanding of GAAP Accounting. The CFO will be instrumental in establishing financial transactions and contracts for new investors and businesses, and in developing comprehensive financial reporting systems.Responsibilities include: Setting up all transactions and contracts for new investors and businesses. Developing and implementing reporting systems for GAAP, financial performance, tax, and other relevant areas. Translating transactions and deals into reports for company performance and potential investors, which can be used to raise further capital. Completing the build-out of all functions to help the company operate as if it were a public firm. Working with technology platforms to extract information from contracts for use in finance functions. Overseeing the financial operations and financial planning of the company. Ensuring the company's financial systems are robust, compliant, and support current activities and future growth. Providing strategic recommendations to enhance financial performance and new business opportunities. Ensuring the financial team maintains financial record systems in accordance with appropriate principles and monitors the use of funds. Effectively and clearly communicating potential risks in a timely manner to stakeholders.Requirements Proven experience as a CFO or similar leadership role in the finance sector Strong knowledge of GAAP Accounting principles and practices Familiarity with Private Equity funding and financial management Exceptional leadership capabilities with a strategic mindset Proficient in data analysis and forecasting methods Outstanding communication and presentation skills Solid understanding of financial software and MS Office Professional certification such as CPA or CFA will be considered a plus Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; master’s degree or MBA is preferred High ethical standards and professional integrity Ability to make sound financial decisions for the company.
