Description Position Overview:The Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist will play a crucial role in managing the financial transactions of the company. This hybrid position allows for a flexible work arrangement, with the option to work remotely for the majority of the week and 1-2 days per week in our Downtown Seattle office.Responsibilities:Accounts Payable:

Process and reconcile vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.

Verify and obtain proper approvals for payment of invoices.

Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.

Prepare and process weekly payment runs.

Maintain organized and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions.

Accounts Receivable:

Generate and send out customer invoices.

Follow up on overdue payments and communicate with customers to ensure timely collections.

Record and reconcile customer payments.

Investigate and resolve discrepancies in customer accounts.

Prepare and analyze aging reports.

General Finance Support:

Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.

Reconcile financial statements and reports.

Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance department.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall business objectives.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar role.

Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.

Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

2+ years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable roles.
