Description Robert Half is in search for a hands-on Accounting Manager to join our client in Seattle, Washington. This is a hybrid role, with some onsite presence. The Accounting Manager is critical in the organization as it involves taking on multiple responsibilities. Previous experience with internal and external audits, grant accounting, and overseeing the month end close process is required. Responsibilities: Handle the daily bank entry of check entries. Perform bi-weekly check bank reviews, ensuring that all matches are in place. Handle the month-end close process for accounts receivable entries, updating details and ensuring all donations are recorded. Understand and manage Excel worksheets until the transition to a new system. Conduct research on ongoing FASB changes, updates, and challenges. Participate in audits, both internal and external, with a focus on understanding schedules and tying out documents back to the trial balance. Communicate effectively with the team and work independently when required. Handle customer credit applications and maintain accurate customer credit records. Perform various accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
