We’re seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Permit Specialist to support residential and commercial development projects in Bellevue, Redmond and Sammamish. This is an immediate contract opportunity for someone with deep familiarity with local permitting processes, zoning codes, and environmental regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience navigating permit applications in Bellevue and Sammamish
Existing contacts or working relationships within city planning and permitting departments
Up-to-date knowledge of local ordinances, including:
Zoning and land use
Wetlands and critical areas
Steep slope regulations
Site access and frontage requirements
Development thresholds and review processes
Ability to initiate applications or inquiries immediately
Strong communication and documentation skills
Role Details:
Assist with permit strategy, submittals, and agency coordination
Advise on code compliance and development feasibility
Prepare and submit permit documents, track responses, and manage timelines
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to resolve jurisdictional issues
