Design abilities are not the primary focus of this job, but opportunities to design are available for those with the interest and ability. This is a small firm, so all of us are exposed to every aspect of the processes; from meeting with clients to coordinating with consultants, providing design input and interacting with contractors and reviewers.
Some of the more technical requirements which a successful candidate will possess:
>3+ years of AutoCAD production drawing experience (including site drawings, building and zoning codes)
>Highly organized with schedules, workload and project information
>Ability to work quickly yet maintain a high level of accuracy
>Familiarity with light frame construction as well as general structural principles
>Eager to learn and apply learned knowledge to future tasks
>Stellar communication skills (spoken, written and graphic communication)
>Experience with Rendering software, Photoshop, Excel and Social Media
