Job Description:
We’re looking for a caring and reliable Assistant Teacher to join our home daycare. You’ll help create a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for children while supporting their growth and development.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and ensure the safety of children during all activities
Assist with meals, diapering/toileting, hygiene, and nap routines
Lead and participate in age-appropriate educational and play-based activities
Maintain cleanliness and organization of daycare spaces
Communicate with parents about daily updates and any concerns
Follow state licensing rules and keep required records
Requirements:
Experience in childcare or early education preferred
CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to become certified)
Patient, dependable, and able to manage multiple children
Must pass background checks and meet licensing standards
