Job Opportunity: Summer Camp Counselor
Camp Director Position: Energetic college student, Passionate certified teachers, and adult individuals with degrees or experience in education looking to make a difference in unique outdoor summer camp.
Camp Counselor Positions: High-school / College applicants are eligible to apply to mentor for younger campers.
Duration: 6 weeks (three 2-week camp sessions)
About Us:
Environmental Leadership camp (Renton) is dedicated to empower our young people (children age 4 14) with essential life skills and environmental awareness. Through engaging outdoor activities, we aim to equip campers with the tools they need to become future leaders in environmental stewardship and positively impact the world they will inherit.
Responsibilities:
Lead engaging outdoor activities, including wilderness survival labs, to foster a love for nature.
Cultivate a safe and inclusive learning environment where campers can develop leadership skills, environmental awareness, and confidence.
Collaborate with fellow staff members to develop and implement a dynamic summer camp curriculum that aligns with our mission and goals.
Provide mentorship and support to campers, encouraging personal growth and a sense of environmental responsibility.
Assist in managing budget, marketing, and guiding parent chaperones.
Salary:
Head Counselor: $5,000 + commission for camp enrollments
Camp Counselors: $3500 base salary
