Are you passionate about early childhood education and nurturing children’s growth in a home-based setting? We are seeking a dedicated Nanny/Preschool Teacher to join our family and help foster a love of learning in our young children!

Position: Nanny/Preschool Teacher

Location: Driftwood Point, Lake Tapps

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (35 hours/week) with potential for additional hours

Compensation: $19-28 DOE (paid weekly)

Key Responsibilities:

- Curriculum Building: Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities to encourage cognitive, emotional, and social development.

- Childcare: Provide attentive, nurturing care, ensuring safety and well-being at all times.

- Student Management: Care for up to 6 children (starting with 2, with the potential to expand).

- Daily Activities: Engage children in educational play, arts and crafts, outdoor fun, and other creative activities.

- Hygiene Assistance: Promote good hygiene practices, including potty training and handwashing.

- Communication: Keep parents informed about the children's progress, daily activities, and any concerns.

- Cleaning and Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for the children.

Requirements:

- 3-5 years experience in early childhood education or childcare.

- Ability to create and manage a stimulating, safe, and nurturing learning environment.

- Willingness to comply with all state and local childcare regulations, including licensing and safety standards.

- Professionalism, reliability, and clear communication.

- Experience in Waldorf or Montessori a plus
