Green Gables Montessori is a licensed full day Montessori school located in Kitsap County’s Silverdale. The position is for a teacher who will be with our toddlers aged 12 to 24 months.
We are looking for individuals who are:
- Nurturing and love being with young children
- Patient and understanding with each child at the center
- A team player
- Self-motivated
- Dependable, reliable, and flexible in the hours and areas that they work
- Willing and able to keep the classroom/school clean, tidy, and organized
- Knowledgeable or willing to learn about the Montessori Method and incorporate the fundamental points with their activities and interactions with the children in our program
- Montessori certified or willing to obtain Montessori certification
Requirements:
- 18 years or older
- High School Degree/GED or equivalent
- Have the following done in accordance with DCYF: TB test, background check, First Aid/CPR, and completion of the 30 hours basic STARS training within 90 days of start of hire
- Have a minimum of one year experience working with children
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.28 - $20.00 per hour
