Job Description:We are currently seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Professional Dog Walkers and Hike Leaders. As a key member of Embark Dog Adventure Club, you will be responsible for leading groups of dogs on invigorating hikes, providing them with both physical exercise and mental stimulation.
Responsibilities:
Lead groups of dogs on hikes through scenic trails and natural surroundings.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs in your care.
Maintain control and manage behavior during group activities.
Monitor and manage off-leash playtime in designated areas.
Provide fresh water, treats, and any necessary medications as instructed by pet owners.
Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on their pets' activities and well-being.
Complete daily logs and report any incidents or concerns to the management team.
Follow established safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
Previous experience in dog handling or related field preferred.
Comfortable leading groups of dogs in an outdoor environment.
Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and breeds.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Physical fitness and stamina to keep up with active dogs on hikes.
Reliable transportation to and from designated meeting points.
Availability during peak dog walking hours, including weekends and holidays.
Basic knowledge of dog behavior, health, and first aid.

Salary: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
Schedule:
4 hour shift
Monday to Friday
