We’re looking for motivated individuals to join our Bremerton location as a Customer Experience Associate. Insight is a values-based climbing gym with the goal of fostering a brave, inclusive, and kind climbing community.
This is a part-time position; applicants will need to be available to work at least two consistent shifts per week which may include evening and weekend hours.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Act as first point of contact for all customers, both at the front desk and over the phone.
Oversee gym safety and enforce gym rules.
Educate customers on our products and help them select the best product for their needs.
Handle point of sale transactions for members and guests.
Orient visitors to the sport of indoor climbing and all the safety policies and procedures involved.
Monitor visitor check-in.
Perform gym opening and closing procedures.
Maintain gym cleanliness and perform daily cleaning tasks.
Assist with administrative tasks assigned by Customer Experience Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Professional communication skills in a variety of situations.
Strong interest in climbing, either bouldering or rope climbing.
Previous customer service experience.
Able to maintain a keen focus on safety while creating a fun environment.
Experience using POS systems (other retail or restaurant environments).
