Established General Contractor is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Residential and Commercial Projects. This position is responsible for managing all projects from pre-construction services, design, estimating, construction and close out. As a small GC we also require the ability to assist and manage the day-to-day business and personnel management that goes along with the business. Qualified candidates will have a track record demonstrating a complete understanding of the business of General Contracting and the detailed knowledge necessary to manage and produce quality projects on time and on budget.
Responsibilities include:
Decision making ability for involvement in complete GC business management
Global project scheduling, budgeting, permitting and construction management
Accountability for all company project performance, completion and quality standards.
Managing employee workflow construction personnel
Experience and skills required:
Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or Project Management preferred
Minimum 15 years construction experience
Minimum 10 years experience in estimating and project management
Excellent people, communication and negotiating skills
Knowledge of Construction codes and methods
Knowledge of Permitting Process
Demonstrated ability to read, understand, and write contracts
Experienced in writing detailed scope proposals
Strong computer skills – Excel, Word, Scheduling and estimating software
Self-motivated with positive attitude and interpersonal skills
Problem Solver
