Field Operations Manager

GENERAL DEMOGRAPHIC INFORMATION

Areas Managed: PuroClean Northwest, Lynnwood, Washington

PuroClean Northwest, Sumner, Washington

Status: Base + bonuses.

Reports To: VP/COO

POSITION SUMMARY: This position encompasses a wide variety of roles and responsibilities requiring the ability to assess processes and company interactions while also maintaining strong attention to detail. Field Operations Manager serves as head of production at both PuroClean Northwest locations equally, facilitates job performance within production, and communicates that progress with all departments. This role requires high-energy and a high level of respect among all departments and their leaders, including VPs, Directors, Managers, and support staff.

POSITION FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Systems

Become expert in the use of our systems – CoreLogic - DASH, DocuSketch, Mica, Luxor, Microsoft Office, and any other apps used now or in the future and train and oversee their uses by the field team. This would include timesheets and auditing those daily and weekly for payroll.

Become conversant in financial reports. Deliver on established KPI’s and provide job costing.

The Enterprise

Facilitate morning production meetings to optimize the use of the field team, vehicle, and equipment needs to ensure maximum efficiency. Follow-up on all PuroLogic notes to advance job completion.

Discuss formally, once weekly, strategies with Management to ensure awareness between entities to maximize business results. Key actions during the week, including jobs won or completed, personnel matters.

Gain understanding of the roles and responsibilities of other departments – Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, Admin, Communications, etc. Understand how the entire Enterprise operates and how Operations impact all other departments.

Develop strategic goals and objectives for the Operations department.

The Facility

This position may require job-site visits periodically but is primarily an office-based position. Field Operations Manager will divide his/her time between both the Lynnwood and the Sumner facilities.

Ensure vehicles and equipment are clean, functional, orderly, balanced in quantity in both shops and ready for dispatch. Schedule and oversee maintenance and repairs for equipment and vehicles.

Ensure shops are in order, clean, presentable, and efficient.

Personnel

Promote our culture of timeliness, quality, education, training, and relentless customer service.

Facilitate training opportunities for the crew in PuroClean field operations, including water, fire, odor, mold, and biohazard.

Ensure credit card expense transactions are recorded using the proper guidelines and policies.

Individual

Will directly respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or other communication throughout the business day. Respond to Operations staff as a priority.

Participate in On Call rotation.

Address customer issues or complaints when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of supervisory experience relevant to the restoration industry.

Expert in all production processes and production flow. Project Management and / or job optimization skills are critical. Ability to work weekends and overtime when necessary, due to the nature of the restoration industry.

GENERAL EXPECTATIONS FOR STAFF IN THIS DEPARTMENT

The Field Operations Manager is expected to maintain and expand their skills in their area of expertise and responsibility. Effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects. A commitment to personal and professional continuous improvement is expected. Leadership and problem-solving skills are a necessity.
