AVANTI Campervans is looking for a reliable person to manage campervan rental operations near SeaTac airport.
This is a part time position focused initially on the daily operations, with option to quickly expand into end-to-end customer interaction and finally Franchising opportunity.
Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate work required to operate 10 campervans going in and out of SeaTac airport area.
2. Self-work or through others, Clean and prepare campers for next trip – includes car cleaning, dish washing and laundry of linens, which typically takes one to two hours per van.
3. Inspect and record the condition of vans before and after trips.
4. Schedule and see to performance of required and scheduled maintenance.
5. Perform van transfers as may be required.
6. Respond to customer issues while on trips.
Payment structure:
1. Fixed Payment for car preparation: $70 per van processing and reimbursement for cleaning expenses (External car wash and Laundry – up to $20 per cleaning).
2. Other work: $25 per hour
3. Car transfers – Fixed pay depending on destination and reimbursement of travel and fuel costs.
Qualification:
1. Valid Driver license and clean driving record.
2. Must have your own car insurance.
3. Excellent customer service attitude and ability to deliver perfectly prepared cars to every trip.
4. Responsible and Reliable – completes work by agreed deadline with high quality.
5. Must be able to do physical work (car cleaning, loading and unloading of equipment from cars)
6. Must be able to arrive at the work location independently – no reimbursement for commuting to and from the work location.
Days, hours, employment status:
1. Flexible – set up your own hours to complete work on time. You will most likely need to do some work on weekends.
2. You will be working as an independent contractor and paid through Venmo / Zelle / CashApp or Bank transfers. You must complete a form W9 and we will issue you a form 1099 at the end of the year.
Growth opportunities for a manager that shows initiative, excellent customer service attitude and responsibility:
1. Manage customer communications from pick up to final release of security deposit.
2. Local marketing work including comissions on trips booked through those efforts.
3. Priority in consideration to become a Franchisee when this option becomes available.
