Our growing property management company is looking to add an experienced General Ledger Accountant to perform accounting and clerical duties related to the efficient processing of financial statements for multiple entities.
The ideal candidate will have accounting experience in Residential Property Management. Experience with YARDI and AMSI accounting software is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate with experience in accounting.
This is an hourly, full time, in office position. Health Insurance, Vacation and Holidays are included in our compensation package.
Responsibilities
Prepare monthly financial packages for 40+ apartment communities
Bank statement and balance sheet reconciliations
Verify accuracy of financial data
Journal entries
Assist business managers with accurate record keeping
Collaborate with internal and external associates on special projects
Follow accounting policies and procedures
Complete month end and year end computer close processes
Year End financial packages
Upload annual budgets
