Job Description:

We are a plumbing company seeking a diligent and experienced Part-time Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team at Parker Services. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our company's financial records and transactions. As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will have the autonomy to handle all accounting tasks independently, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities included/but not limited to:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Service Titan).

Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, SOV management, payment collections, and vendor management.

Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts on a regular basis.

Prepare and process payroll, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes.

Generate financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to facilitate decision-making by management.

Assist in budget preparation and monitoring expenditure to ensure adherence to financial targets.

Maintain compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations, including sales tax and payroll tax filings.

Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals during audits and tax preparation.

Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management based on financial data.

Ensure confidentiality of financial information and maintain data integrity.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role.

Proficiency in accounting software and G-Suite, MS, particularly Excel / Sheets.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Relevant certification (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper, Certified Public Accountant) is a plus.
