Job Title: Warehouse AssociateJob DescriptionWarehouse Associates are responsible for breaking down express freight, rebuilding it into organized stacks on pallets, and moving these materials around the warehouse. This role involves handling light packages for household consumers as part of the shipping and receiving station for Amazon Prime Air flights.Responsibilities
Break down express freight and rebuild it into organized stacks on pallets.
Move materials around the warehouse.
Climb into large metal Unit Load Devices (ULDs) to remove packages.
Use hand scanners to track packages.
Stack smaller boxes within larger boxes according to specific procedures.
Release straps that hold the plastic/canvas door closed on ULDs.
Unload assorted boxes within ULDs.
Use pallet jacks or assist with forklift operations to move materials to the loading dock area.
Load materials onto trucks.
Essential Skills
Experience in warehouse operations, including packaging and inventory management.
Proficiency in using hand scanners.
Ability to handle material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
Knowledge of air cargo operations.
General labor skills including loading and sorting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
1+ years of warehouse experience highly preferred.
Experience with ramp operations is highly preferred.
Must possess original documentation to obtain a SIDA badge (e.g., US Passport or foreign passport with I94 or EA, and valid state ID).
Eligibility for a SIDA badge.
Steel-toe boots are required.

Shifts include 2100 - 0530, 2245 - 0630, 2330 - 1000, or 0130 - 1000. Must be open to all shifts, with a likely assignment to the 0130 - 1000 shift.
