RCT's provide contamination and radiation exposure control. Perform surveys where procedures have been established. Duties may include working with routine and/or special detection equipment. Perform qualitative mask fit for radiological protection. As assigned by management: perform special studies in the evaluation of radiological protection for personnel, environmental, or plant areas; participate in area specific radiation worker qualification and requalification programs; prepare and maintain records and documentation as appropriate; and provide assistance in the preparation of radiation control documents such as Radiological Work Permits (RWP's), ALARA Management Worksheets (AMW's), etc.Must certify and maintain RCT certification in accordance with the terms of Part 5.
