Our focus is reducing the environmental risk posed by 56 million gallons of radioactive and chemical waste stored in 177 underground tanks on the Hanford Site located in Richland, WA. Join us today and be a part of history!Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS) seeks a Project Delivery Lead to join the Design Support Services organization. The Project Delivery Lead is responsible for overseeing the development and administration of programmatic project delivery processes, as well as directing the day-to-day activities of the Design Services project delivery project managers. This position will report to the Design Support Services Manager.Principle duties include the following:

Provides oversight and integration of the Design Support Services project delivery project managers, including the planning of assigned work, scheduling of resources, tracking of hours spent/remaining, oversight of project estimating and quality assurance of the EVMS integration at the company level.

Promote a positive, safety-conscious, and collaborative work environment consistent with the WRPS mission, vision, and values.

Effectively lead members of the project delivery project managers team including providing technical guidance, encouraging their professional development, and establishing arrangements that allow them to perform effectively in their discipline.

Ensure that project delivery project managers are suitably trained, experienced and qualified as required for their specialty.

Generate and review design work plans, change forms, and weekly/monthly reports.

Assists management with estimating function for future work as requests are received.

Support the maintenance of the project delivery project managers capability through participation in staffing reviews, recruiting efforts and performance evaluations.

Serve as the primary interface with the Design Leads supporting the design engineering work execution planning process including the preparation of design discipline schedules and work hour estimates.

Coordinate the tracking of design engineering discipline resources to design engineering tasks including the development of dashboard reports for management.

Oversee the work being performed by the project delivery project managers in their discipline ensuring compliance with processes, procedures and standards and adherence to cost and schedule requirements.

Provide training and oversight on the Sciforma software program to ensure project delivery project managers are fully versed and able to execute proper schedules with labor resources fully loaded.

Serve as document owner and author for selected engineering programs procedures.

Coordinate the issuance and tracking of essential and support drawing revisions.

Although this role includes administrative oversight responsibilities, it is a Working Lead role. The selected candidate may be assigned design engineering tasks that include individual contributor and/or design team member scope elements by the Manager.

Perform special assignments as identified by Design Engineering Manager and/or Design Services Manager.

Required QualificationsGrade 18:Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline and eight (8) years related experience in project management, leadership, scheduling or data analysis, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Two (2) years nuclear experience.Grade 19:Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline and nine (9) years related experience in project management, leadership, scheduling or data analysis, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Two (2) years nuclear experience.Note the essential duties for this grade level are like that of the previous grade level, however the scope of responsibility is larger, and the expected level of performance is increased.Grade 20:Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline and ten (10) years related experience in project management, leadership, scheduling or data analysis, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
