Description Our client is looking for a dynamic Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their staff. In this role, the Full Charge Bookkeeper will direct journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, payroll, and bank reconciliations. The A/P & A/R staff will report to the Full Charge Bookkeeper. If you thrive in a leadership role under tight deadlines, you might be the accounting professional we're searching for! This permanent employment opportunity is 100% on-site in the Renton, Washington area.Your responsibilities in this role
Manage the day-to-day accounting functions
Supervise 1 A/P and 1 A/R direct report
Draw up cash flow projections, as needed
Catalog sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
Alternative special projects as requested
Document budget transfers
Administer monthly accounting close
Produce cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.
Experienced with credit card management and reconciliation
Arrange monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
Clarify business license and gross receipts
Get ready subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement
Salary and Benefits:The salary range for this position is $80,000-$90,000 annually. Benefits included with this position include Medical/Dental/Vision insurance, Company-Paid Life, LTD, and AD& D insurances, 401k, 52 hours of PTO accrued in the first year, WA State Sick Time, and 7 paid holidays.Requirements - Noteworthy accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
Strong analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company
Be detailed, flexible, and organized
Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines
Solid understanding of GAAP Accounting
Adeptness in payroll
Foundational knowledge in budgeting
Accounting procedures experience
Demonstrated knowledge of month end closings
Proficiency in Prepare Financial Statements
Practical knowledge of AS400
General familiarity with benefits administration
Full Cycle Accounting experience required
Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred
Strong organization skills with a sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks
Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
