In this role, you will work closely with talented engineering and Data Science teams, collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders across Azure, and have the opportunity to design, deliver, and iterate on new tools, applications, and Azure features. Our work has high visibility with the Azure leadership team and ample opportunities to share our successes and receive support and guidance from them. The scope of responsibilities includes:

Creating product/feature specifications with visual and written designs

Partnering with our engineering teams in all phases of development as a subject matter expert on feature design and user experience that focuses on privacy compliance and excellence.

Providing hands-on program management during various phases of our projects including day-to-day contributions as part of agile development practices.

Measuring the success of the product through relevant metrics and KPIs

Developing product roadmaps and strategy

Listening to customers (internal and external) to understand their scenarios and challenges

Engaging with partner teams across Azure and Microsoft to drive alignment on dependencies

QualificationsRequired/Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management

OR software development

OR equivalent experience

Experience using data to drive prioritization and measure progress

Technical experience with technologies such as cloud computing environments, logical access control, agile development processes, secure coding principles,

Experience with Github/Gitlab or Azure DevOps

Experience with building services on Azure or other cloud services

Experience with data analytics and related technologies, including Kusto (Azure Data Explorer), SQL, ETL technologies, machine learning (ML), and PowerBI.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
