We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to engage with Global 500 customers and create impact on Microsoft Defender suite for Devices (Includes Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Defender for IoT and related products). If so, then we are looking for YOU!The Customer Acceleration Team helps our most strategic customers, gathering requirements, acting on customer feedback and using data to drive feature feedback and product truth back to our feature Product Managers, engineers and security researchers. We also help scale in depth product and operationalization knowledge to support the service’s incredible growth. As part of the team, you’ll roll up your sleeves to give technical deep dives, troubleshoot and apply expertise to enable our customers to deploy, consume, and operationalize our market-leading security capabilities.Responsibilities

Customer focus: In this role, the Senior Product Manager will work with customers to understand/anticipate their needs and identify differentiated innovation opportunities to build a better product and protect customers.

Technical Excellence: The Senior Product Manager is responsible for collaborating with feature PMs, Engineering Leads and Security Researchers to ensure that our product roadmap is grounded on the most pressing customer challenges. The PM will be expected to continuously identify opportunities to help meet or exceed scale, performance, security, reliability, and operational efficiency goals for the service and business.

Collaboration: The Senior Product Manager will identify and own problems and collaborate with partner teams to solve them. The PM will be expected to create an inclusive and globally distributed environment that invites a diverse set of ideas to the table to deliver innovative, high quality, and timely solutions to problems.

Product Definition: The Senior Product manager will convert customer feedback and requirements into crisp, prioritized product roadmap, backlog, specifications with clear objectives and key results to measure success.

Data Driven Decisions: The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for defining KPIs, ensuring all aspects of the service are instrumented and will delve deep into the data to identify key insights and drive decisions based on these.

Operational Excellence: The Senior Product Manager will work with each component team ensuring we have high confidence project plans and execution rhythm leading to timely, high-quality deliveries.

QualificationsRequired/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

OR equivalent experience.

4+ years of experience with cybersecurity.

4+ years of experience in cross-group, cross-functional engineering roles.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

OR equivalent experience.

Technical problem-solving skills.

Innovative thinking.

Ability to work with customers and partners (Business Decision Makers, CISOs and IT Leaders) representing Engineering, and helping them understand our value proposition and services.

Track record of identifying and addressing gaps in field, customer, and/or partner readiness.

Solid experience in advocating on behalf of the customer to improve products.

Relentless drive for results.

Proven track record driving backlog prioritization based on customer evidence.

Collaborative attitude coupled with ability to work toward customer & business goals.

Communication and presentation skills.

Personal drive and impact with a desire to roll up your sleeves and make things happen.

Technical curiosity and aptitude to quickly understand service capabilities, technical issues, and customer needs.

Ability to demonstrate flexibility and build out scalable programs as we evolve from a startup to a mature service.

Demonstrates customer satisfaction track record.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
