Position Full Time: (9 Months) - September through May

Accountable To: Education Manager

Objective: To provide office organization and assistance in a variety of scenarios.

We are looking for someone that is enthusiastic and has excellent hospitality skills. Someone who is ready to work in all of our classrooms; classrooms include toddler, preschool, and before & after school-age program. It's the perfect position for a loving, nurturing, experienced individual; easy-going demeanor, flexible schedule.

Qualifications / Job Preferences:

-High School Graduate or Equivalent, higher education preferred

-Must be able to keep accurate records.

-Must have a valid driver’s license.

-CPR/First Aid (Preferred)

-Physical constraints required include the ability to hear a conversational voice, with or without a hearing aide, the ability to see and read newsprint with or without corrective lenses, to speak and be understood under normal circumstances, to lift and carry children and other items weighing up to 50 pounds and the use of arms, legs and feet, with or without corrective devices to accomplish the job. This includes evacuation of the building during emergencies.

-Must successfully pass a background check required by CCCC.

-Must have good communication skills with adults and children.

-Must have knowledge of all CCCC policies and procedures.

-Must have knowledge of operations for all CCCC programs, such as performance standards, enrollment standards and Day Care Minimum Licensing Requirements for children.

Must be able to be flexible in scheduling.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Assist with payroll; collect, review and transmit time sheets.

Assist with scheduling staff for each program, informing staff of schedule and changes.

Perform reference checks on potential staff.

Conduct new staff orientations; prepare staff files.

Arrange emergency staffing (sick leave).

Supervise all interns and volunteers in day care programs. Ensure proper documentation is filed.

Assist Child Care Program Manager with enrollment/waiting list/and tracking of children for all CCCC programs.

Assist in writing USDA grant, along with follow-up and monthly reports/vouchers.

Give site tours and answer parent questions.

Oversee personnel files.

Assist Health & Nutrition Program Manager track child immunizations.

Compile and maintain accurate information and up to date on ChildPlus.

Serve as Board Secretary for Executive Board, including keeping board minutes.

Compose and distribute weekly updates.

Assist in classrooms (50% of the scheduled time)
