Our Greyhound Way Center (530 NW Greyhound Way) is looking for a full-time Lead Teacher - Family Advocate.
The Lead Teacher is directly responsible for the care and education of children, ensuring that the classroom and educational program meet the mission of CCCC and complies with all program standards, policies, and procedures specific to the program. The Lead Teacher will also serve as a positive role model to the staff, parents, and children and will supervise the planning of a curriculum that is developmentally appropriate for the children enrolled in the program. The Family Advocate is responsible for the implementation of comprehensive and integrated support services, in compliance with performance standards to the Head Start and ECEAP children and families of CCCC. These services include, but are not limited to, building relationships built upon mutual respect with families, identifying family strengths and goals, coordinating services with families, linking families to community resources, and supporting parent involvement activities.
10-month position.
