We are looking to hire a skilled Carpenter for a 2+ year residential project in Sequim. This can come with the opportunity to move to another project afterwards in the King County area as we are a also a commercial developer.
CARPENTER FOR PROJECT IN SEQUIM, WA
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for layout, framing, finishing various structures and buildings. Other duties will include designing, cutting, and measuring materials according to plan requirements.
A successful applicant should be hardworking, RELIABLE, and have good communication and organizational skills. You must have completed an apprenticeship in carpentry or have equivalent experience in the field.
PAY SCALE
$35 per hour (depending on experience)
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
FRAMING: Wood structures with joists, rafters, sill & top plates and studs
Concrete: Formwork, rebar and concrete placement
Build small decks, stairs, ramps & railings
Reading plans to work to specifications provided and to code requirements
Proficient use of a spinning laser for elevation control
Perform general labor work as needed such as clean up, stacking/relocating materials, etc.
PREFERRED:
Drywall and insulation
Doors & door hardware
Excavation: Mini-Ex & Skid Steer for minor trenching and foundation excavations & backfills
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience 2+ years
Ability to comprehend schematic diagrams, blueprints, sketches, building plans and other specifications
Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation

weather conditions.
