The Food Sector Program Manager administers the North Olympic Peninsula Food Sector Expansion project. The project provides intensive one-on-one advising services and in-depth specialized workshops for existing farm and food businesses in Jefferson and Clallam counties to improve business skills and profitability and create new jobs. In addition, in collaboration with NODC partners, the program provides a series of in-depth workshops on relevant topics for farm and food businesses.
The ideal candidate is passionate about sustainable agriculture, small farms, local food and rural communities, and has experience in business management, business advising or consulting, agriculture and grant writing. Excellent collaboration and networking skills are needed as is the ability to work well with people from all backgrounds.
