Atlas Technologies, in Port Townsend, is seeking a part time Shipping Clerk to join the team. The Shipping Clerk is responsible for the packaging and shipping of aluminum vacuum chambers and vacuum components. The Shipping Clerk is cross trained and supports the Clean Room and other departments, as needed.
Responsibilities:
-Accurately label and package parts for shipping and inventory.
-Maintain inventory of packaging and shipping supplies.
-Read drawings for inspection and accuracy of parts.
-Coordinate shipping each week based on the production schedule.
-Able to lift 50lbs.
-Operate the forklift for receiving supplies and shipping chambers and large orders.
-Able to operate hand tools and power tools for crate assembly.
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
-High School Diploma or equivalent required.
-Warehouse, Logistics, Clean Room, and/or Machine Shop experience helpful.
-Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. JobBoss experience a plus.
