Join the fun and apply now! The Human Resources Coordinator assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department. The Human Resources Coordinator carries out responsibilities in the following areas: General office duties and administrative support, benefit enrollment and eligibility, applicant tracking and recruitment functions, on-boarding and new employee orientation, training and development, department recordkeeping, special projects, reporting, data entry, employee recognition initiatives, and multiple other areas within the Human Resources Department while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Provide administrative support to the HR team. Assist with daily operations of various HR functions and duties.

Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests including answering frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refer more complex questions/concerns to appropriate HR staff or management.

Assist the Recruitment Coordinator with creating social media ads.

Review and process Wellness and Fitness reimbursement checks.

Provide support with the on-boarding of new employees including, entering new hire employee information into the payroll system, conducting orientations to fully integrate newly hired employees, while processing and distributing all associated new hire documentation in a timely manner.

Collaborate with the Tribal Gaming Agency to pick employee badges for new hires.

Provide back-up support for HR functions related to benefit management including communicating with employees about eligibility, adding dependents, and documentation. Also responsible for tracking employees Hepatitis B vaccination paperwork and faxing when necessary.

Provide back-up support for quick hire HR appointments.

Remain trained on Human Resources information systems and payroll systems used by the Resort and be able to provide miscellaneous personnel information to department managers upon request, as well as employee verification to outside requests as needed.

Provide backup support for employee recognition programs such as Give A Wow, employee work anniversaries, and other initiatives to increase employee moral through recognition.

General office duties including, but not limited to, supply ordering, filing, and data entry.

Perform miscellaneous duties and special projects as assigned.

Must follow all safety rules and regulations.

Follow all general and department policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

Three years of progressive expierence in human rescources, administration, or associated field.

Minimum of 3 years in an administrative role preferably in an HR department

A minimum of 2 years payroll/accounting experience preferred

Must exercise confidentiality and discretion on a daily basis

Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests and/or team members

Strong organization, prioritization and attention to detail

Proficient computer skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
