Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and ledgers.
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Support accounts payable and receivable processes.
Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits.
Stay updated on accounting best practices and regulatory changes.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience in accounting or finance roles.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
CPA or working towards certification is a plus.
