Description Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and standards, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting who thrives in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:

Manage the company's financial accounts, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.

Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards.

Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.

Lead and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed.

Participate in financial audits and assist with audit preparation and documentation.

Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with demonstrated progression of responsibilities.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (GAAP).

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with [specific software or ERP systems] preferred.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
