We have an ambitious internal and external growth agenda, and we need talented, bright, and driven people to continue to pave the way.As Program Manager (Hotels) – Hotels you will play a key role in the evolution of the Hotel business at Amex GBT. In this role, you will support the Director of Hotel Commercialisation to Partner across the whole company, with a particular focus on expanding the Supplier Management Platform (SMP), an integral prat of this strategy. If you have a passion for getting complex projects over the finish line, leading a team of project and product managers, as well as the attention to detail to spot issues and dependencies along the way, then this role could be for you.Key Responsibilities

Establish a program structure that meets the challenges of a complex global, cross-functional strategic initiative by applying PMI standards and best practices for project planning, project controls, monitoring, setting, and managing stakeholder expectations.

Collaborate with project and product managers to drive a cross-functional process flow, bringing stakeholders together to deliver the initiative goal

Develop clear success metrics for the execution of the initiative

Input into Initiative PMO communications, preparing steering committee and executive-level materials to effectively communicate project updates to all levels of organization, adapting the style to the targeted audience.

Adapt the program delivery to changing prioritization and focus areas.

Lead proactive identification and mitigation of issues and risks, leveraging experience to anticipate risks in advance of impacts and integrating cross-division expertise when identifying mitigation strategies.

Requirement to Succeed :

Bachelor's degree in a related field; or equivalent related professional experience.

A qualification in project management e.g. Prince 2, PMI, APM, PPM.

Experience working with Product teams using agile frameworks.

An analytical, innovative and creative mindset with strong attention to detail.

Passionate about implementing the Hotel strategy by tackling complex business challenges, planning and executing strategic initiatives, and partnering with cross functional teams to drive a shared agenda.

A minimum of 3 years’ experience delivering projects, the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment across various teams and time zones, with a strong bias for action.

Strong communicator who can drive cross-company collaboration, often through storytelling and persuasion, finding the common goal that brings multiple perspectives together.

Demonstrates a critical understanding of business processes making recommendations for improvement, sponsoring and staging workshops/knowledge sessions to leverage insights and subject-matter experts to overcome challenges

Aptitude to grasp new concepts quickly, process large quantities of information and make relevant connections to business implications

Master of project management software such as MS Project, Smartsheet and MS Office applications for planning, reports, analysis, and presentations.
