Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing out fleet of semi-trucks and trailers to ensure they remain in optimal operation condition.
Responsibilities:
- Preform routine maintenance tasks on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with semi-trucks and trailers.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify worn or damaged parts and components.
- Repair or replace faulty parts, such as brakes, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Preform preventive maintenance procedures to prevent breakdowns and ensure safety.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
- Annual Inspections on semi-trucks and trailers.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably with a focus on semi-trucks and trailers.
- Knowledge of diesel engine systems, including fuel, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Strong diagnostic and problem- solving skills.
- Ability to use various tools and equipment of repairs and maintenance.
- Class A CDL preferred, but not required.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
- Diesel engine repair 1 year (Preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge 1 year (Preferred)
