Position: Quality Assurance Technician
Pay: $20/hr
Location: Royal City, WA
Shifts Available:
- A Shift (9am–7:30pm): Alternates weekly (Sun–Tues / Sun–Wed)
- B Shift (9am–7:30pm): Alternates weekly (Wed–Sat / Thurs–Sat)
- C Shift (7pm–5:30am): Alternates weekly (Sun–Tues / Sun–Wed)
- D Shift (7pm–5:30am): Alternates weekly (Wed–Sat / Thurs–Sat)
Contract Term: 3 months
Tentative Start Date: ASAP
Overview: We’re looking for detail-oriented QA Technicians to join us for a contract project at a local cherry product company. This position involves performing visual inspections, record product quality data (size, color, brix, defects), and use tools like thermometers, refractometers, calipers, and metal detector systems. Duties also include completing checklists, swabbing, and pre-op line inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect for foreign materials, blemishes, or mold
- Record quality metrics accurately
- Use lab and QA equipment
- Complete pre-op inspections, swabs, and documentation
Required Skills:
- QA/QC knowledge
- Inspection, testing, and sampling experience
- Strong documentation and communication skills
Additional Qualifications:
- Follow sample/testing protocols
- Prepare and label lab samples
- Assist with swab tests (ATP, allergen)
- Understand logs, batch records, lot tracking, hold/release processes
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets or QA systems
- Comfortable reporting non-conformance issues
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods
- Reliable and punctual
