Description We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to join our team in Mercer Island, Washington. In this role, you will be entrusted with the management of cash flow, review of cash balance reporting, filing of tax returns, company credit card management, and financial reporting. Responsibilities: Oversee daily monitoring of the company's cash balances and optimize cash position through strategic recommendations. Ensure the accuracy and timely submission of cash balance reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, while also explaining any significant variances. Prepare, review, and file the WA B& O tax returns on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, staying updated with any changes to the tax regulations and guidelines. Manage company credit card issuance, cancellations, and limits, and ensure timely payment and correct expense allocation through regular review and reconciliation of monthly credit card statements. Prepare and present periodic financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with all requirements. Conduct Capitalized Overhead Analysis to determine appropriate allocation and treatment. Liaise with external partners for audited financial reporting. Use Microsoft Excel for various tasks including account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliations, and journal entries. Participate in month-end close processes.
